RTM provided MEP/FP engineering design services for interior renovations of two American Red Cross facilities. For the existing three-story facility location in Chicago, IL, the scope of work included the 4,125-square-foot blood distribution center on the first floor; the 1,013-square-foot reference lab on the second floor; and the 400-square-foot administrative office space on the third floor. A few special considerations for the MEP design within this facility concerned services for environmentally controlled rooms such as spaces for refrigerated and frozen product storage. Additionally RTM provided rough-in design for the laboratory space on the second floor for future needs of the facility.
For the existing one-story facility in Madison, WI the scope of work included tenant renovations for the 3,100-square-foot blood distribution center.
